What do you do at Model55?

I am working as a Senior Staff Accountant at Model55. I am responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, the accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial statements and cash flow, daily cash processing and analysis, as well as maintaining accounts receivables and payables. I work closely with head of finance and other management team members to keep accounts accurate and current.

What is your past experience?

Following my basic education (BS) in Nutrition and Dietetics from India, I continued my education after moving to US learning Network Centered Computing, Accounting and Finance programs from Mission Valley Regional Occupational School, Fremont, California. Following a stint of Business Internship at “Supply Air Distribution Inc” Fremont, CA, I started working as accounting clerk at the same company. Since moving to MA in 2014 I have been part of Interim Furnishings LLC/Model55 team in their Finance group.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

I enjoy working with numbers and being able to oversee and maintain all aspects of accounting and finance.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to work at Model55?

This is a dynamic close-knit team that works hard to realize the common goals and aspirations of Model55, in a respectful and fun-filled environment.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

Hiking, walking, biking, listening to music, to name a few… and traveling with family and friends.

What is your favorite book(s), and/or tv show(s)?

I enjoy watching all kind of movies- Hollywood and Bollywood. Friends is my all-time favorite TV show.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Never stop learning.
