What do you do at Model55?

I oversee the Facilitations, Logistics, and Customer Support departments at Model55. One of the primary functions of these departments is to ensure the community faculty and staff have a positive and efficient experience with Model55- from scheduling on-site appointments, to their interactions with the third-party installers. The other main function of these departments is to provide coaching and support to our third-party installers in their mission to bring our design concepts to reality and ensure the model apartments are left in a show-ready state, so the communities can start showing them to prospective residents. Generally, my day to day consists of identifying processes that need to be streamlined or new processes that need to be implemented, and strategizing action plans for these initiatives.

What is your past experience?

Previous positions held before my time at Model55 include a supervisory position at a home furnishing retail store, where I developed my skills in managing a team and focusing on the customer experience, and working for a CPA where I was first introduced to how businesses are managed and the basics of financial reporting.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job is being a member of the Leadership team. Being on the Leadership team has taught me how to be a better manager and support system for my team, and it has shown me what can really be accomplished when passionate people come together to achieve a common goal.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to work at Model55?

We’re like a big family! Company culture is really important to us. We work hard for our clients and their communities, but we also genuinely care and support each other, and we recognize the importance of a work/ life balance.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy finding new TV shows to watch and going to the dog park with my dog, Jake.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

You don’t have to constantly be busy to be worthy. Rest is productive.
