What do you do at Model55?

As an Interior Designer, I manage the design process of multiple projects with both senior living and multifamily clients. This includes space planning, creating design concepts, and furniture selections for model apartments using in-stock and custom product.

What is your past experience?

I have my BA in Communication Studies and went back to school to study set design for film. The freelance work I did in set design piqued my interest in interior design. I started at Model55 as a design assistant and decided to return to school to get certified in Interior Design. I have always loved design and that continues to be true.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

Custom projects are most inspiring. They allow more creative freedom and I get to source new product.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to work at Model55?

Have a sense of humor, a sense of urgency, and care about what you are doing!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Leisurely dinner and drinks with friends, and visiting my family in NH.

Cats or dogs?

What is the most important thing you learned before high school?

The address of the school.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Don’t tuck your shirt into your underwear 🙂
