What do you do at Model55?

I am responsible for overseeing and managing the design department. I work closely with the designers on every model and interact with all other departments on a daily basis to make sure orders are moving smoothly. I am also involved in creating internal processes / programs based off a clients specific requests.

 

What is your past experience?

After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Mount Ida Collage in 2009, I moved on to gain experience in furniture sales, hospitality design and kitchen design. I have been with Model55 since 2012. I started as a Design Assistant and worked my way up to Manager of Interior Design.

 

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

Being involved from start to finish with a project. I love seeing the transformation of a space!

 

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to work at Model55?

Be a team player with a positive can do attitude.

 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

Spending time with friends, family and dog. Walks, hikes, camping, boating and traveling when able. Working on my fixer upper home with my husband.

Dogs 🙂

 

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from them.
