03 Jan New Year, New Us: Ramping Up Our Model Apartment Staging Services for 2022
Like many other businesses, we’ve spent the last couple of years adjusting to the new normal of post-COVID life. Global supply chain disruptions impacted our normal business operations, and we’ve worked hard to update our systems and processes to navigate obstacles like months-long furniture delays and inaccessible suppliers.
Today, we’re proud to share our latest upgrades, including the unveiling of our new warehouse, where our designers meticulously catalog, pull, and package thousands of products.

A New, Expansive Warehouse To House Model Apartment Furniture & Decor
Our new space before moving in.
Following the onset of the pandemic, we had to rethink the way we work. Many of our team members went remote or onto a hybrid model.
Though our facilities were spacious, they had many dedicated office spaces that were suddenly less necessary as our team spent more time out of office. We wanted a larger and more flexible space to keep product on hand amid furniture delays and give our growing company room to expand.
We also wanted to provide our designers with a bright, inspiring space to foster creativity as they pull accessories and create vignettes for projects.
The perfect space to fit our needs turned up in Hudson, MA: a turn of the century, 40,000-square-foot mill building. The warehouse—formerly a wool factory—combines original industrial elements with modern updates into a space that’s both beautiful and practical.
We designed the layout of the space to streamline operations and increase efficiency. Warehouse teams that work closely together are now physically located next to each other for easy communication throughout the model apartment design process. We built custom racks to keep product organized and even designated a specific room to store artwork safely.
Updated Furnishing Solutions In Our Stocking Catalog
As furniture supply chains became severely backlogged due to the pandemic, we realized we needed to adjust our approach to better support our clients. Stocking more inventory has allowed us to keep projects on track and avoid waiting up to 32 weeks for delivery of certain items.
As we ramp up our inventory, we’re bringing back our stocking catalog, where we showcase all the latest designs that we offer. Since returning from High Point’s Fall 2021 Market, we have so many innovative ideas to share.
We keep items from the catalog in stock in our warehouse to be available when our clients need them. Clients can pre-approve the furniture and decor they like and have it delivered at their convenience.

Designated Commercial Interior Design Account Managers
Meeting clients’ needs is our top priority. In 2022, we’re excited to expand our approach of assigning dedicated account managers to each project, no matter the size or scope.
Account managers serve as our clients’ liaisons and advocates. They communicate client input directly to our design and logistics teams so that clients don’t have to handle this back and forth themselves. They check in with clients for feedback on design and process, and they conduct annual reviews to ensure we’re continually improving to exceed all expectations.
As we welcome 2022, we’re applying all the lessons we learned from the past two years to strengthen the comprehensive services we offer. With a new warehouse, updated inventory, and dedicated account managers, we’re ready to hit the ground running in the new year. In addition to growing our robust senior living design services, we plan to expand our multi-family solutions, common space refreshes, and national design programs.
