First of all, congratulations on your promotion to CEO!
Thank you! My time with Model55 has been incredible, and I’m excited to further our impact in the senior living space in the coming years.
What are you most looking forward to achieving in your new role?
One of my biggest goals is to reintroduce our brand and highlight the full range of our turnkey interior design services as well as the immense value we can offer our clients. Our company has a long history of serving the senior living industry, but as we’ve grown, our capabilities have significantly evolved.
While we’ve always been known for delivering excellent model apartments and furnished spaces, I’m excited to expand our influence even further. We’re shifting from simply providing beautiful model unit installations to becoming true partners in our clients’ sales success.
That’s amazing! What does that collaboration with clients involve?
Because design and sales go hand in hand, we can offer strategic guidance on how to maximize the value of their investment. Historically, our work would end once the model apartments were installed. Moving forward, we’re going to give our clients the playbook for what comes next – helping them better leverage their spaces to increase occupancy rates and conversion.

What is a challenge you see your clients face after their model apartment is in place that you can assist with?
One of the most common challenges we hear from clients is that models move – and when they do, it becomes a major headache.
Most operators don’t have the time or internal resources to oversee these moves properly. They often default to relying on their maintenance teams, who do their best but aren’t trained in model reinstallation or visual merchandising. That’s where we come in.
