What do you do at Model55?

As an Interior Designer I’m responsible for creating turnkey model designs for apartments in both multifamily and senior living communities. I also communicate with clients to ensure the final product coincides with the demographic of their residents in addition to their desired style/ aesthetic.

What is your past experience?

I graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. I started at Model55 in the fall of 2015 as an intern and came on full time as a designer following my graduation.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

I love creating custom designs based off clients unique resident personas. I get to think outside the box and try something new I’ve never done before. It keeps the process exciting. Also, I like working with clients on projects revisions and seeing the design evolve from another perspective.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to work at Model55?

Be a team player. We’re all in this together with the same end goal. Everyone here is very friendly, so ask a lot of questions.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Yoga, it helps keep me grounded. Also spending time with my family and close friends, taking care of my many houseplants, painting, and spending time outdoors.

What is your favorite book(s), and/or  tv show(s)?
  • Crime Junkie (Podcast)
  • Nightmare Before Christmas (Movie)
  • Friends (TV Show)

Cats or dogs?

Dogs, definitely

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Be kind to people. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Forgive and let go. Don’t let negativity weigh you down.
