Booth Design Concept for NAA 2019

Apartmentalize is just days away and my team and I are so excited to pack our bags and head to Denver!

As someone who is just 10 months in to the vendor side of the multifamily industry, I’ve experienced no shortage of firsts during my time here. This will be the first industry-leading trade show that I’ll be attending and it’s also the first time that I’ve been able to observe and contribute to the planning that goes into it.

From marketing collateral, booth design, shipping, creative prizes, email campaigns, swag items and more – there’s A LOT of planning! Appreciation shout-out to our Marketing Strategist, Amanda Beausoleil, who typically coordinates every detail but let me come along for the ride this time.

THE BOOTH

I was tasked with designing the layout and picking the products that would be on display in our booth. As an Interior Design and Architecture fanatic, this was a dream project. The best part though? We are raffling this entire set off at the show!

Since NAA is in Denver this year and we have a wood paneled backdrop, I knew I wanted it to have an industrial, rustic, and modern feel. I also knew that a chic blue couch had to be involved. Once I found that blue velvet couch, I looked to some of our own beautiful designs from this past year for more items to incorporate.

INSPIRATION

I’m not sure about the rest of you who are also not professional Interior Designers – but choosing a rug truly stresses me out. The options, colors, and patterns are endless. For this, I knew I needed to look at our portfolio. Low and behold, I found the perfect one with the color story I was envisioning.

Since there were already plenty of wood tones, I added the black coffee table from this beautiful project installed in Nashville, TN.

TYING IT ALL TOGETHER

The rest was easy, mostly because I started running out of space. I found the perfect console table that came from the same vendor as the couch, and an arched lamp that wouldn’t be too dramatic for a 10’ x 10’ space.

Our warehouse is fully stocked with amazing accessories, so putting the frosting on this layout only required a trip down the stairs.

CAN YOU PICTURE THIS IN YOUR HOUSE?

If you can, be sure to stop by booth 193 for a chance to win! We coordinate the shipping at the show so all you have to worry about is clearing some room for your new furniture pieces.
