What do you do at Model55?

I am responsible for overseeing multiple departments and working with their managers to make sure all our projects run smoothly. I also manage and create internal processes / programs based off a clients specific requests and I occasionally get to design a project.

What is your past experience?

I graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2008 with a degree in Interior Design. At Wentworth I did 2 Co-op programs with a small design company in Bolton, MA that specialized in designing Senior Living Communities. I have also worked in retail and visual merchandising as well as part-time in a Senior Living facility as an activities assistant.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

I love that we enhance blank spaces for communities to inspire potential buyers. Without our models people would not see the full potential of a space or they would not feel confident moving a loved one in. Our team is a great group of creative thinkers and problem solvers and they all inspire me everyday.

Home renovation projects with my husband are all I do on the weekends but I also love spending time with our 3 dogs (Hera, Betty & Maizie), friends, family and we love going to different venues to see our favorite comedians.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

It’s not so much as advice but I am grateful everyday that my parents taught me how to be independent.
